Dan Miller is a prominent American "Outsider" artist, and is an artist-in-residence at the Creative Growth Art Center in Oakland, CA whoworks in a variety of media, including drawing, painting, ceramics, sculpture, and printmaking. Miller, who was born in Castro Valley, CA, is on the autism spectrum and has developed an intensive body of work that employs language as its fundamental subject and departure-point. He was recently included in Viva Arte Viva (curated by Christine Macel) at the 57th Venice Biennale (2017).
