Kenwyn Crichlow will receive a solo exhibition – PERSISTENT COLOR: Abstract Paintings by Kenwyn Crichlow – curated by Aida Omolara Hayfron-Benjamin, as part of Atlanta Art Week. Presented by Citizen Projects, Accra in collaboration with Atlanta Art Week, the exhibition presents six large-scale paintings by the Trinidadian abstract painter whose masterful use of light and color, gesture and brushstroke will be on view in Atlanta for the first time.
ABOUT THE CURATOR
Aida Esi Hayfron-Benjamin is a curator and cultural entrepreneur born in Trinidad and Tobago and living and working in Accra, Ghana. She is the founder of Citizen Projects - a brick and mortar gallery space and curatorial platform working to foster artistic production, research, critical dialogue and community across disciplines.
