On May 17, artworks will be available for bidding in-person at the gallery and by email or phone. The benefit auction and cocktail party is Thursday, May 30, 2024 at 6:00pm, followed by a Live Auction at 7:30pm.

About: White Columns is New York's oldest alternative art space; and this benefit auction is White Columns’ key annual fundraiser. Attendees can bid in-person on more than 100 artworks throughout the evening.

All proceeds from the sale of tickets and artworks fund future exhibitions and public programs, and support emerging and under-recognized artists.

White Columns was founded in 1970 by a group of artists including Jeffrey Lew and Gordon Matta-Clark as an experimental platform for art. Originally located in SoHo (and known as the 112 Workshop/112 Greene Street), the organization was renamed White Columns when it moved to Spring Street in 1980.  In April 2018, White Columns re-opened in a new location at 91 Horatio Street adjacent to the new Whitney Museum of American Art and The High-Line.
