Amir Zaki in Riverside / PST ART: Art & Science Collide

Amir Zaki is included in 'Digital Capture: Southern California and the Pixel-Based Image World,' Co-Curated by Nikolay Maslov and April Baca at UCR ARTS/California Museum of Photography and Culver Center of the Arts — opening Saturday, October 26.

 

This group exhibition is presented as part of PST ART: Art & Science Collide, a landmark regional event that explores the intersections of art and science, both past and present.  

 

Amir Zaki's photograph, Built in 1906. Damaged in 1908. Renovated in 1907, 1909 X,' 2021, from his series 'On Being Here,' is installed in Digital Ecologies and Terrestrial Plains, a thematic section that includes works by micha cárdenas, Dynasty Handbag, Goldin+Senneby, David Maisel, Lynne Marsh, Charles O’Rear, Trevor Paglen, as well as  selections from the CMP Technology Collection. 

 

It will be on view September 21, 2024 - February 2, 2025.
