Roland Reiss is included in "Light, Space, Surface: Works from the Los Angeles County Museum of Art" (Curated by Carol S. Eliel) to be on view at the Addison Gallery of American Art in Andover, Mass from November 23, 2021 - March 20, 2022). Roland Reiss' early fiberglass and resin painting, "Red Edge," 1968 will be on view. A catalogue will accompany the exhibition.
Organized by LACMA, this exhibition explores the art of Light and Spae as well as rlated works with highly polished surfaces often referred to as "Finish Fetish." Roland Reiss joins featured artists Larry Bell, Billy Al Bengston, Judy Chicago, Mary Corse, Fred Eversley, Robert Irwin, John McCracken, James Turrell, and Doug Wheelers, among others.
