Diane Rosenstein Gallery presents a conversation between art journalist and essayist Amanda Fortini and artist Vanessa Prager on the occasion of the publication of Vanessa Prager: Paintings (2020-2024) and the exhibition, TWELVE: Anniversary Exhibition at 831 N. Highland Avenue, Los Angeles. 

 

There will be book signing of the new monograph and a celebration of our anniversary exhibition, TWELVE, immediately following the talk!

Amanda Fortini, a regular contributor to T: The New York Times Style Magazine and a columnist for County Highway, has also written for The New York Times, The New Yorker, The Believer, The Paris Review, California Sunday, Vanity Fair, New York Magazine, Rolling Stone, Elle, Slate, and The Los Angeles Review of Books, among other publications. Her essays have been widely anthologized, including in Best American Political Writing and Best American Travel Writing. She is a 2020 recipient of the Rabkin Prize for art journalism, and has been a fellow at the Black Mountain Institute at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. She divides her time between Livingston, Montana and Las Vegas, Nevada, and is writing a book of essays, Flamingo Road, about the latter.
