"Woolgatherers: New Paintings by Heather Day" at the Fort Wayne Museum of Art

February 22 - May 31, 2020

Heather Day opened her first museum solo exhibition, Woolgatherers: New Paintings by Heather Day, on February 22, 2020 at the Fort Wayne Museum of Art in Fort Wayne, Indiana. She also completed a short residency in the gallery space, painting a one-of-a-kind mural that will be on view for the duration of the exhibition.
Day was interviewed by the museum, and answered questions about her work and how this exhibition differs from a gallery exhibition. She also discusses her inspirations, mediums, career path and her experience with chromesthesia (association of color with sound, taste, and/or heightened emotion).
