In Jackson, Terran Last Gun is included in Behind Linear Narratives: Indigenous Plains Ledger Art, a special exhibition and centerpiece of Native Voices: Honoring Indigenous Ways and the Teton Powwow at the Jackson Hole History Museum.
Behind Linear Narratives brings together historic ledger drawings from the late 1800s with contemporary works by internationally recognized father-and-son artists Terrance Guardipee and Terran Last Gun. Co-curated by Al Hubbard, CWC Tribal Assistant, and Susan Durfee, former CWC-Jackson Director and Native Voices/Teton Powwow consultant for Native Voices, a joint project of Central Wyoming College and Native American Jump Start, the exhibition traces the evolution of ledger drawing from the late 19th-century to the present. It highlights the continuity of Indigenous storytelling and the transmission of knowledge across generations. Both curators are accomplished artists whose work reflects this living tradition.
